1. Edit VMware ที่ไม่ Boot เข้า CD
ที่ Tab VM Options ทำเครื่องหมายถูกที่ Force BIOS Setup ตามรูป เพื่อให้ Boot เข้า Bios

2. ตั้งค่า Bios ให้ Boot จาก CD ก่อน แล้ว Save

เครื่องก็จะ Boot เข้า CD

1. Place the host you are about to upgrade into Maintenance Mode.
2. Now SSH into the host using PuTTY (or any other SSH client/terminal).
3. Type the following command to open the firewall for outgoing HTTP requests:

4. Type the following command to upgrade to the latest ESXi 6.7 Build 9484548 (latest as of writing)

Once the host comes back online, remove it from Maintenance mode and you’re good to go. It also wouldn’t hurt to also disable SSH when you’re done, for security purposes.

- Network ช้า
- การเข้าใช้งาน Server ต่าง ๆ ช้า

เกิดจากมี Server หรือ Windows บางตัว Run หรือทำงานอะไรบางอย่างอยู่ทำให้ CPU ของเครื่อง VM ทำงาน 100% จึงทำให้เกิดปัญหาดังกล่าว

วิธีแก้ไข
1. เข้า VSphere Client ดูที่ Tab Performance แล้วเลือก Switch To เป็น CPU จะเห็นว่า มี VMware : VMware ทำงานหนักผิดปกติ CPU ทำงาน 100% ตามรูป

2. เข้าไปไล่ดู Tab Performance และเลือก Switch To เป็น CPU จะถ้าเห็นว่าเครื่องนั้นทำงานหนักผิดปกติ ให้ไปดูที่เครื่อง เช่น
- เครื่อง Alfresco ทดลอง Restart Service ว่าลดลงหรือไม่ ถ้าไม่หายต้อง Reboot เครื่อง Alfresco

- Win10-IT มี Processes บางตัวที่ Run CPU อยู่ 100% ให้ปิดมัน

3. ถ้าปิด Processes หรือ Restart แล้ว CPU ของแต่ล่ะเครื่องจะลดลง ตามรูป

และ CPU ของเครื่อง โดยรวมก็จะทำงานลดลง พัดลมก็จะมีเสียงเบาปกติ

- Download หรือ Copy ไฟล์ทั้งหมด ยกเว้น 2 ไฟล์แรก และไฟล์ .vmdk , ไฟล์ .vswp อันล่าสุด
- เสร็จแล้ว Add ไฟล์ .vmx to inventory
- ลบ Lan network แล้ว Add ใหม่เพื่อไม่ให้ซ้ำกับเครื่องเดิม แล้วเปิดเครื่อง Set IP ใหม่ เปลี่ยนชื่อเครื่องใหม่

เพิ่มขนาด ของ HDD ในเครื่อง VM

- ปิดเครื่อง VM ที่ต้องการ เพิ่มขนาด HDD
- เข้าไปที่ Edit เพิ่มขนาดได้เลขตามที่ต้องการ
- Mount แผ่น boot gpart ถ้าไม่ boot จากแผ่นเข้าไป Seting เลือก option แล้วตั้งเวลาให้นานขึ้น หรือ ติ๊กให้เข้า Bios
- เมื่อ Boot เข้า Gpart ได้แล้วใช้ gpartition resize ได้เลย
- ถ้า Resize ไม่ได้ติด Swop ต้องลบออกก่อน Resize เสร็จแล้วค่อยสร้าง Swap ใหม่
- แล้วแก้ /etc/fstab ใส่ UUID ที่ได้ใหม่ของ Swap เข้าไป ใช้คำสั่ง blkid เพื่อดู UUID http://porpramarn.blogspot.com/2016/06/linux-mount-new-ext4-hard-disk.html

VMEXSi Add Harddisk เพิ่มและ Formate สร้าง Partition

1. ไปที่เครื่อง VM ที่ต้องการเพิ่ม HDD คลิกขวาที่เครื่องที่ต้องการ เลือก Edit Setting เครื่องที่ต้องการจะปิดหรือเปิดเครื่องอยู่ก็ทำได้
2. Add Hard Disk เพิ่มเข้ามา
3. ที่ Disk จะติ๊ก Independent คือ ไม่มีผลหลังจากทำ Snap Shot แต่ถ้าติ๊กคือมีผลด้วย
4. เข้าที่เครื่อง fdisk -l ดู จะมี HDD ขึ้นมาอีก 1 ก้อนที่ยังไม่ได้สร้าง Partition
5. ใช้คำสั่ง sudo fdisk /dev/sda
6. กด m เพื่อ ดู help
7. Creating a Partition
Use the n command to create a new partition. You can create a logical or primary partition (l for logical or p for primary). A disk can only have four primary partitions.
8. Use w to write the changes you’ve made to disk. Or Use q if you want to quit without saving changes.
9. Formatting a Partition use the command. sda5 is mean disk.
sudo mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda5
10. check disk fdisk -l

Step :
- Create /DATA
- Set fstab for mount DATA when boot ever.
- Set Symbolic Link
- Move Data.
